The role

Use your marketing savvy and project management prowess to bring our media products to life, delivering digital campaigns that connect the world’s great car brands to our massive user base, while delighting our client and agency partners with the results.

In this rewarding and results-focused role you are responsible for implementing and optimising our growing suite of innovative brand and retail products for our many advertising partners.  You will put your awesome people and communication skills to work, engaging a range of external and internal stakeholders, including product, sales, insights, ad operations, editorial, design and development.  You’ll also deliver advertising products that drive incredible outcomes for our clients, sustainable revenue growth and repeat business, while supporting our product and sales teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Post sale implementation of key products including Clearance Centres, Pre Launch campaigns and Content Marketing solutions, working closely with our product managers and tribe lead
  • Own the client-facing day-to-day delivery of key commercial partnerships
  • Find ways to iterate and improve our products and processes to drive better results and improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with MOC Tribe Lead to define, document and deliver evolving tech requirements and capabilities
  • Work with insights and ad-ops to implement best-in-class reporting that demonstrates exceptional ROI, value and iterative optimisation
  • Help create client-facing communications including best practices, specs, case studies and go to market materials
  • Gain client insights to inform the product planning process

Synopsis

Reports to Senior Product Manager – New Cars

  • First 6months: own the new car showroom roadmap for carsales, roll out new consumer experience, grow revenue (from showroom related advertising), own OEM engagement and content enrichment.
  • Key stakeholders: Internal: design, tech, insights, marketing, sales teams. External: OEMs, Dealers

The ideal candidate will be a product-centric Digital marketer, ideally from client side, with experience managing paid / owned digital (i.e. digital campaigns, website, content). You will need to be passionate about auto or have auto experience.

This role is a blend of tech, business, data and customer experience.  In this role you will be helping carsales to transform the new car experience we provide for buyers and sellers.  Hands on experience with google analytics and other user insights tools highly valuable.

You will have the ability to think and act at two speeds – this means managing the short-term pressures required to hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets, whilst keeping your eye firmly on the broader vision and ensuring what we build is scalable and profitable over the long term.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Grow advertising revenue as a result of consumers enquiring on new cars, grow new car customer NPS, OEM sentiment/engagement, grow new car audience volume/engagement/conversion
  • Lead product manager and main point of contact for new Car Showroom and related OEM products
  • Product management for model showcase, clearance centres, new car showroom content, including:
    • Product research, ideation, planning and validation
    • Market analysis, risk analysis, supplier assessment, customer research and prioritisation
    • Product design, development, testing, release
    • Internal and external GTM, product packaging, roll out, adoption
    • Lifecycle management including maintenance, iteration, scalability, sunset

The Role
